Despite an ambulance being called to the scene, no serious injuries have been reported.

An accident involving two vehicles took place at 17:00 on the N4 near Pienaardam.

An ambulance was called to the scene, but only minor injuries were sustained.

The cause of the accident was one of the vehicles driving into the back of the other.

Caution is advised for travellers driving in the area as the road was momentarily closed.
