Truck overturned on Stoffberg Road, driver hospitalised
The accident took place last night, just outside of Kanonkop.
A truck driver was hospitalised last night after losing control of his vehicle on the Stoffberg Road near Kanonkop.
At this stage, it is unclear as to why or how the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The driver was the only person involved in the accident that took place just outside Middelburg.
Louwtjie Swart of Van Wettens Towing was alerted of the incident last night at 22:15. He then informed residents on the Traffic Alert WhatsApp group of the potential danger.
He also stated that recovery officials are aware of the overturned truck, and that there are plans for its removal.
