N4 Wonderfontein partially closed due to crash

Traffic on the N4 near Wonderfontein is being affected due to partial lane closure following an accident.

According to Trac Assist, the west-bound lanes on the N4 between Sunbury and the Puma Garage has been closed to allow clean-up of the scene, but a stop-and-go has been erected to allow traffic flow.

Mr Louwtjie Swart from Traffic Alert has confirmed that the crash occurred after a trailer full of grain unhitched from a tractor. The road surface is covered by spilled grain.

Van Wettens Towing has commenced with vehicle recovery and a clean up of the grain is underway.

Motorists are advised to expect traffic delays as lane closure is expected to endure for an hour. Caution is advised.
