Five reportedly die in school bus collision with train

A serious accident involving a school bus and a train occurred near Mafube Village at Arnot Station (old Belfast Road) just after 16:00.

Some learners are trapped in the bus.

There are reports of fatalities on the scene. Five people have reportedly died in the crash, while nine are seriously injured.

Community members are currently on the scene and are very distressed.

The police and emergency services are on their way.

Motorists travelling near the area are urged to drive with caution.
