Man wanted for setting woman alight

A manhunt has been launched for a man who allegedly set a woman on fire on Saturday.

The incident happened at around 13:00 on a farm outside Middelburg.

According to an eyewitness, they saw the man running out of a burning house with his hand on fire.

The man reportedly attacked the woman in an alleged domestic violence incident.

The woman sustained nearly 80% burns on her body and was transported to the Middelburg Provincial Hospital for medical treatment.
