Qualify for Comrades and Two Oceans at the TRACN4 Elands Marathon

The 2025 event is expected to attract an even larger field than previous years, featuring some of South Africa’s top road runners.

The TRACN4 Elands Marathon, Mpumalanga’s most picturesque Comrades qualifier, is back! Presented by the Nedbank LVCC Running Club and proudly sponsored by Trans African Concessions (TRAC), this iconic 42.2km road race will take place on March 1, set against the stunning backdrop of the Elands Valley.

A Two Oceans Marathon qualifier as well, the race kicks off at Laerskool Oosterlijn in Emgwenya (Waterval Boven).

From there, participants will traverse the breathtaking escarpment, pass through the historic Waterval Boven Tunnel, and finish at the Sappi Skills Training Centre in Ngodwana.

In addition to the full marathon, the TRACN4 Elands Marathon will also include a half marathon (21.1km) and a 10km race, ensuring a memorable experience for both elite athletes and running enthusiasts alike.

This pre-race event offers participating brands the opportunity to connect directly with athletes and serves as the official race number collection point.

Alternatively, race numbers can also be collected at LVCC in Mbombela.
