Tributes pour in for popular DJ Dosline after sudden passing

The well known 'Dosline', died yesterday.

The well-known DJ and music producer, Takalani ‘Dosline’ Mkanzi, has passed away. The exact circumstances surrounding his death are not yet known.

Dosline, who lived in Dennesig, Middelburg, was a popular figure in the South African music scene, known for his dynamic DJ sessions and production work.

He has featured as a guest DJ on numerous radio stations including Metro FM and hosted the renowned Sunday Sessions at Rustique in Middelburg.

He was also the driving force at many other events in Middelburg and Mhluzi and an avid supporter of local young and upcoming talent.

Since news of his passing broke, hundreds of heartfelt messages and tributes have flooded social media, reflecting how deeply he was loved by friends, fans, and fellow artists.

Among the tributes posted on Facebook were:

“Rest well, king!”

“He was the only guy who believed in us when we introduced podcasts to Mpumalanga!”

“You committed to starting a project at church this month and finishing it in July. Just two weeks ago you officially gave your life to Christ — that gives me peace, knowing you’re in a better place. Rest easy, Dosline Nam Angaz.”
