The memorial service of the late Pierre de Villiers (60) was held today at the Corpus Christi Church.

Pierre passed away peacefully on June 24. A lifelong resident of Middelburg, he attended Laerskool Middelburg before completing his hig school days at HTS Middelburg.

His family described him as a proud member of the community whose presence will be deeply missed. “We are comforted knowing he is at peace, and we are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time,” the family said.

Pierre is survived by his wife Annette, daughter Michelle, son Renier and daughter in law Alicia, grandchildren Adriano, Christiano, Keegan and Alivia, son Zander and daughter in law Cheree, brother Gideon de Villiers, and sister Yvonne Ferreira.
