Ntokozo Manqoba Mtsweni (27) was found dead in his room at his grandmother’s house in the Plein section in Mhluzi.

Two constables who were patrolling on Wednesday evening were called and rushed to the scene.

Upon arrival, they found Ntokozo Vilakazi, the father of Ntokozo. He then showed them the room where his son’s body was found on the bed, facing down, with deep cuts and bruises on his upper body. Paramedics arrived and certified him dead.

A family member questioned a person of interest to find out what had happened. The person allegedly admitted that he was told Ntokozo wanted to break into his house, so he tied him up.

The Middelburg Observer knows the name of the person but can not publish it as no arrests have been made yet.

Investigations are underway.
