Missing Belfast woman reportedly safe, Police continue investigation

The family of a 19-year-old woman missing since August 1 has been told she is safe, but police are still working to confirm her whereabouts.

The family of Nqobile Ntombikayise Lukhele (19), who has been missing since August 1, has received a call claiming she is safe.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Jabu Ndubane, provincial police spokesperson, the family was contacted yesterday by a man who said Nqobile is with him and that she will return home when she wants to.

Lt Col Ndubane added that the investigation is still ongoing, as police want to determine her exact location to ensure her safety.
