Nhlapo defends WBF title

It’s do or die for All Africa Light Heavyweight Champion Bonginkosi Nhlapo.

Nhlapo defends his WBF title against Jimmy ‘The Beast’ Mabundjii on September 20 at Sun City, with his belt on the line.

Nhlapo, a Nelspruit native, is trained by Steven Pieterse from Middelburg.

The Beast is no angel and has previously held the WBF All Africa Super Middleweight title.

He will be looking to win the title after a previous attempt against Jason Medi failed.

Nhlapo recently lost to Gerhard Thyse in a non-title fight on points.
