The annual National Wills Week, presented by the Law Society of South Africa, officially began on Monday.

Members of the community can go to various law firms around town to help with drafting a free will until Friday.

• De Jager Hattingh Incorporated Attorneys, Mahlangu and Mokwena Attorneys Inc, Mketsu and Associates Inc, E Nieman & Co Attorneys, Louis Wessels Attorneys, and Noluthando Sigudu Inc are all taking part in the initiative.

To avoid being a part of the many South Africans who pass away without leaving a will, contact any of the above attorneys for assistance.

• Community members are urged to take advantage of this initiative to secure their assets and peace of mind.
