Mhluzi man pleads for his life while being robbed after bike accident

A Mhluzi man begged for his life as two men robbed him after he had a bike accident last Thursday.

A terrifying robbery unfolded in Mhluzi last Thursday around 21:00, when a man (who wants to stay anonymous) had a motorcycle accident on his way to Nyanyathu and was attacked by two men.

According to his sister, a white taxi stopped near her brother after he fell off his bike.

Two men jumped out of the taxi. One suspect allegedly held him around the neck while the other searched his pockets.

The man reportedly begged them not to kill him as they stole all his belongings before fleeing in the taxi.

He could not recall the vehicle’s number plate and only described the suspects as skinny.

The Mhluzi Taxi Association stated that no investigation could be done without proper identification of the taxi, such as a number plate or stickers.
