A Mercedes accident drew attention in Beyers Naudé Street this afternoon (September 21) when the driver lost control shortly after a curve and ploughed into a tree.

The crash happened just before 16:00 near Mhluzi.

Inside the car were a man and a woman, who miraculously escaped without injuries despite the force of the impact.
