Two headless bodies found dumped on Avontuur

Police suspect bodies were moved from locked house.

Two headless bodies were discovered in the veld in the Avontuur area.

Both bodies also had their hands and feet missing.

According to a police source it seems that bodies were mutilated after death.

It appears that both victims had been shot before their heads, feet and hands were chopped off.

The body parts have not been found near the bodies.

A blood trail was followed by police, leading to a nearby home.

The owner of the home could, however, not be traced.

The house was found locked but blood evidence found outside the house, leads police to believe that the men may have been attacked inside the home where they were shot.

Its still unclear when the men were killed.

Their bodies were moved to the location where the discovery was made.

A murder probe has been launched.
