The beloved, Middelburg Care Village Lights Festival is back from 5 to 20 December, ready to light up the town with festive cheer, fantastic food, memorable music and community spirit. This year’s build-up to the festival is especially heart-warming, after some lights were damaged last year, children from Middelburg Primary School – Eagles Nest & Academy and Mini Explorers raised funds for new lights. Their names will be honoured on the centre’s “Wall of Stars” which can be seen at this year’s festival. According to Middelburg Care Village “Christmas light elves” are hard at work to prepare all these lights for their festival, filled with Christmas magic.

In just a few weeks, the centre’s Christmas tree, towering at 10 meters high, will glow again, marking the start of a festive season. They are ready to create a town filled with joy, hope and togetherness. From the looks of things, Middelburg’s lights and hearts are going to shine brighter than ever this December.

From glowing trees to glowing hearts, the Lights Festival is set to wrap our town in the warmth and wonder of the season.
