Family appeals for help in search for missing Rockdale teen

Concern grows as 14-year-old Noxolo Khumalo remains missing weeks after leaving her Rockdale home mid-December last year.

The family of 14-year-old Noxolo Khumalo is appealing to the community to assist in locating her after she went missing around December 14 last year.

According to her family, Noxolo left her home in Rockdale without informing anyone where she was going and has not returned since.

Relatives say they have been frantically following up on all possible leads, with unconfirmed reports suggesting that she may have been seen in the Mhluzi area.

Although Noxolo has gone missing before, her family said they are growing increasingly worried as this is the longest period she has been away from home. In previous incidents, she would usually return after only a few days.

Noxolo is a Grade Eight learner at Middelburg Combined School in Nasaret.

The family is urging anyone who may have information about Noxolo’s whereabouts to come forward and call Tshepiso on 060 921 4651 or 082 966 1581.

They have also appealed to community members to share the information widely in the hope of bringing Noxolo home safely.
