N4 motorist: Petrol supply restored at ALZU Petroport

The petrol supply at ALZU Petroport on the N4 toll route has been restored.

Fuel supply has been fully restored at ALZU Petroport, with management confirming that both 93 and 95 petrol are now available.

Earlier today, the fuel station experienced a temporary petrol shortage, leaving the 93 and 95 pumps dry due to high demand from travelers using the busy N4 route during the Easter holiday period.

However, ALZU Petroport, Eric van Zyl has since confirmed that new fuel deliveries have arrived, and supply has been replenished.

Petroport reassures N4 motorists

According to the Petroport, more than enough petrol is now available to accommodate the remaining Easter holiday traffic along the busy motorway.

Management assured motorists that the 93 and 95 petrol pumps are fully operational and ready to fill travellers’ tanks.

High demand caused temporary dry pumps

The earlier shortage occurred after a petrol delivery received yesterday, April 3, was quickly depleted by heavy traffic volumes along the N4 corridor between Middelburg and Machadodorp.

Motorists travelling the route can now refuel normally at the Alzu Petroport, which remains one of the busiest fuel stops on the toll route.
