The incident was reminiscent of a Leon Schuster movie scene, though drivers did not find it humorous.
The unknown man, who was wearing a white overall, placed a pole with a branch on it in the middle of the street, which disrupted early-morning traffic.

Drivers ordered off road

His motive is unclear.
Motorists were ordered, with wild hand gestures, not to use ‘his’ road.

Emergency vehicle arrives

At the end of the video, an emergency group vehicle can be seen arriving at the scene.
However, this was not before several motorists expressed their frustration with some choice words.
