City Parks finally cuts long and dangerous grass in President Park

City Parks has taken swift action and cut long grass after the paper reported on the issue in March.

Motorists driving on President and Boshoff roads in President Park can finally breathe a sigh of relief after Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo finally cut the long grass on the two roads.
The almost 1.1m long grass created dangerous blind spots for motorists using these roads travelling from Rabie Ridge, Ivory Park and Ebony Park to Midrand. City Parks regional manager Dr Joseph Mbulaheni Ndou said the grass was cut on April 5. This swift move came less than a week after the article, Uncut grass creates a dangerous blind spot, [Week ending 29 March], was published.
