South Africa mourns the death of Ricky Rick
The artist played a huge role in the hip-hop culture through his music, fashion sense and his annual event, Cotton Fest.
Rapper Rikhado Makhado, popularly known as Ricky Rick,Β has passed away.
According to a statement released by the family, the rapper (34) died in the early hours of February 23.
The family has asked for privacy during this difficult time and have extended their gratitude for the heartfelt messages they have been receiving.
He is survived by his wife, two children, his mother and five siblings.
