Man robbed of cash in Noordwyk

MIDRAND - A man was robbed of cash, bank and appointment cards on 14th Road in Noordwyk.

Police spokesperson Constable Matome Tlamela said the complainant was about to enter the premises of a company, when he was surprised by three men at the gate who pointed a firearm at him.

“They searched him and took all his belongings. The suspects were driving a white Toyota Yaris with no registration number. No-one has been arrested yet and police investigations are underway to bring the suspects to book, as the complainant can identify one of them,” said Tlamela.

Meanwhile, a man was robbed at gunpoint by three men while walking along President Road in President Park.

“The suspects took the victim’s wallet and R1 000 in cash. We request residents with information that could lead to the arrest of these suspects to contact the Midrand police station,” said Tlamela.
