Mr ADT, also known as Darrin McDowell, entertained the children of Midrand Montessori with magic tricks and puppets while teaching them about home and personal safety.
Mr ADT covered topics like dangers in the kitchen, what to do if there is a burglar in your house, fire safety and the dangers of playing with guns and knives.
Mr ADT delighted the children with his humorous manner and lots of colourful props.
When the show had ended the children all expressed their anticipation for next year’s show.
The children were certainly entertained but were also educated during the performance.
The Mr ADT show has been successful in both Gauteng and the Western Cape.
They are hosted by ADT free of charge and different shows are structured around different age groups.
