
“The complainant said her ex-husband woke her up while she was sleeping and was surprised to see him in her bedroom. She said she does not know how he got into her house. The suspect grabbed her by the neck and pointed a firearm at her. The complainant tried to scream but the suspect threatened to shoot her if she screamed. The suspect overpowered her and raped her repeatedly.”
Tlamela added, “After the rape ordeal the suspect ordered the complainant to take a bath and told her not to report the matter to the police. The suspect told the complainant that if she reported the matter to the police she will never see her children again.”
The police are investigating the matter. The case has been transferred to the FCS Family Violence and Child Protection Unit in Alexandra.
