Man gang-raped in car in President Park

PRESIDENT PARK - On 15 September a man was raped by three men in President Park on Boshoff Street.

“The complainant was walking to his house when he accepted a lift to Ivory Park extension 2 taxi rank. The suspects were driving a maroon Mazda. On the way to Ivory Park the complainant was surprised when the driver of the vehicle turned right at the robot, (and began) racing towards Republic Road in President Park. When the complainant told the driver he was headed in the wrong direction, the man on the front passenger seat pointed a firearm at him and threatened to shoot him if he kept talking.”

Tlamela added, “The suspects stopped the car in the middle of Boshoff Street and ordered the complainant to undress himself and kneel on the car seat. The three suspects took turns to rape the complainant, and they did not use protection. After the rape they ordered the complainant to get out of the car.”

No one has been arrested yet, and the police are investigating the case.
