Taxi association holds motivational talk for schools

IVORY PARK - The Ivory Park Taxi Association held a motivational talk with Grade 12s on 22 February.

The talk took place at the Ivory Park North Community Hall. Some of the schools represented were Ivory Park High School, Umqhele Secondary School and Oracle Secondary School.

Motivational speakers included Joshua Maponga, Moketle Mokoene and Motlatsi Matsosa. Matsosa encouraged over 2 000 pupils from schools around Ivory Park to take charge of their lives and be the best in life.

“Any pupil can pass Grade 1 and Grade 12; it is the attitude that determines the altitude in life.”

Grade 12 pupils were encouraged to choose a life free of drugs, crime and alcohol. They were also urged to work hard so that their dreams could be fulfilled.
