The purpose was to help Four Paws, a non-profit organisation that is responsible for the rescuing of pets from underprivileged areas. Shoppers were requested to purchase dog and cat food from Pick n Pay in order for Beaulieu College to re-distribute it to Four Paws.
The Kyalami community was most generous and Beaulieu College’s Interact Club thanked the community for their participation.
The Interact members collected cash and a total of 212kg of dry dog food, 15.4kg canned dog food, 35.4kg of dry cat food and 5.8kg tinned cat food. Not forgetting 10 ostrich bones.
As a community-orientated school, Beaulieu College’s Interact Club supports the direct community who are in need.
