Diverse Sports owner and director Loshnee Iyer said the teams had worked hard during the softball season.
“The dedication the teams have shown is outstanding. Today we honour the teams’ dedication and excellent teamwork and great softball games.”Sagewood head of sports Thembu Tete said, “The softball season has been a success because of the great spirit of competition between the teams. We are proud of our teams.”
The schools that participated in the softball tournament were Sagewood College, The Kings College and Pecanwood College.
Grade 12 pupil at Sagewood, Emese Nolan facilitated the awards ceremony with assistance from Lolwethu Quasha, from the same school.
Senior recipients:
First place – Pecanwood College:
