Why school holidays are fun

MIDRAND - Midrand Reporter asked pupils of Midrand schools what the best part of school holidays was for them.

Fellow pupil Palesa Nguduza said the best part was being with family. “I get to spend time with my family and get a little break from studying.”

Clarissa van Rooyen of Christ Church Preparatory School and College said, “I look forward to chilling on the couch watching TV and spending time with my friends. “I will also have more time to run, swim and sleep.”

Sisters, Kshaa and Ayuri Singh attend school at Sagewood Primary School. Kshaa said, “I like waking up late and catching up on all my TV programmes.”

Ayuri spends time “relaxing and sitting in my pyjamas all day”.
