Raising funds for furry friends
MIDRAND - Woodrock Animal Rescue is raising funds through literacy.
The non-profit animal organisation rescues, rehabilitates and re-homes animals and provides them with medical care and food.
The rescue is hosting a book sale of secondhand and new books at Crowthorne Shopping Centre in front of Spar on 19 and 20 April from 9am in order to raise funds for the rescue organisation.
Susanne Venter of Woodrock said they were looking for people to donate books to help raise funds for the organisation.
Woodrock aims to educate the local community on sterilisation and how to treat pets humanely.
