Horse care unit receives hope
MIDRAND - FUNDRAISER for the Highveld Horse Care Unit, Midrand resident Joanne Pursey expressed gratitude to Fourways' Mark White Nissan for extending a helping hand to the unit.
Pursey said in January the company helped the unit to purchase three new vehicles at affordable rates, which has enabled the unit to travel safely to clinics and inspections.
At the Nissan Easter Festival, held at Kyalami Equestrian Park in April, the company again helped the unit. Pursey said, “Nissan SA and Mark White Nissan each donated R500 per entry of the six-bar show jumping event, and donated a total of R14 000 to the Highveld Horse Care Unit. From all at the Highveld Horse
Care Unit, thank you again.”
She said as winter approached the unit was preparing to deal with an increasing number of cases. “The support is greatly appreciated,” said Pursey.
