Find charity and volunteer work at Give Back
MIDRAND - Are you a charity looking for a donation? Are you an individual looking to volunteer you time? Give Back is the place to visit.
In an email to Midrand Reporter, Anita Dufferi of Give Back said the initiative was, “a growing non-profit volunteer driven programme aimed at providing a forum for charities and residents to find opportunities to serve or get assistance”.
“Sometimes residents do not know how to give back and at times they are not aware of charities in their area. The Give Back platform is a place where organisations can enlist, and individuals looking to donate their time or clothing can browse and see which charity to give to,” she said.
Dufferi explained that, “Visitors are able to access the information of charity organisations or post charity-related messages and requests on the website. This helps if any of the individuals or charities require that service.”
Midrand charities already listed on the platform are New Jerusalem Children’s Home, Yenzani Children’s Home and Animals in Distress.
