
Midrand police communications officer, Constable Matome Tlamela said, “Four men driving a black vehicle with police markings, and with two men dressed in police clothing and two men dressed casually, hijacked a truck on New Road in the early hours of 23 May.”
Midrand police, with the help of Tracker, located the truck and recovered it on Summit Road in Blue Hills at about 3am.
Tracker also helped to trace the suspects and recover the goods from a property on Graham Road in Glen Austin. A white Camry that was stolen in Rosebank earlier in May was also recovered.
The suspects were arrested at the house.
Medicine belonging to a pharmaceutical company to the value of R10 million was recovered in the truck.
