A luncheon to spur on women in business

MIDRAND - Young Women In Business Forum in Midrand is inviting business women to a luncheon.

The forum’s secretary general Lindiwe Molele said the luncheon will be at the Germiston Library Auditorium. She added, “In partnership with National Youth Development Agency and the South African Youth Chamber of Commerce, we are inviting all young women to be part of the business luncheon on 30 May at 9am.”

“The theme will focus on effective tools of empowering women in business. We have guest speakers from business and government lined up for the day. The programme will also feature presentations about Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE), life coaching and sales pitching. All participating enterprises will receive free BEE certificates,” Molele said.

Speaking about women, Molele said, “The forum believes that women are worth celebrating every single day. It is this belief that motivates us to provide support for young women in business and make sure they are on the path for sustainable change.”

Molele said the speakers include Humbulane Mulibana from National Youth Development Agency, South African Youth Chamber of Commerce president Thapelo Maleke and life coach and business woman Tshepiso Matentjie. “We are also expecting representatives from the Ekurhuleni Municipality Local Economic Development,” she added.
