VIDEO: Suspects steal car while owner asleep
MIDRAND - Police spokesperson Constable Matome Tlamela said a complainant's house was broken into at Erand Court in Midrand on 5 August.
“The complainant said he was woken by a neighbour telling him that his house was broken into,” said Tlamela. “Upon further investigation the complainant noticed that the sliding door had been forced open and his car keys were stolen by an unknown number of suspects from a table.”
“The suspects also stole the complainant’s grey Jetta 5 vehicle. A case of housebreaking and theft of a motor vehicle has been opened. No arrests have been made yet.”
