The men stole computers and the entity reported the robbery at the Midrand Police Station.
The statement given to police by Pikitup stated that the robbers went into the guardroom and one of them was carrying a firearm.
He pointed it at the guard who was inside the room. They forced the guard out of the room and tied him and his partner up, and handcuffed both of them together.
The robbers gained entry into the building by breaking windows and damaging a burglar door. The value of the computers they took is unknown and no arrests have been made as yet.
Midrand police’s Constable Matome Tlamela confirmed that a case relating to the incident had been opened at the police station.
