According to the victim, two armed men entered his store at 11.40am. The victim, a fellow employee and customer were instructed to lie down on the floor. The suspects tied the owner, the employee and the customer’s hands and legs.
Midrand Police Station has confirmed the victim suffered some physical abuse and was kicked in the face. The suspects managed to escape with keys to a motorcycle, cellphones, three leather jackets and a watch. A firearm was left behind.
The police said a a blue Mercedes Benz with no registration plates was used in the robbery. Police encouraged the public to come forth with any information regarding this vehicle.
