Gauteng 10111 spokesperson Captain Pinky Tsinyane said, “Four males and two females aged between 21 and 42 were arrested after a police patrol on R101 in Midrand. Police spotted an overloaded blue Kia with six people inside and stopped the driver and searched the vehicle.”
It is alleged the driver was on his way to drop off the other suspects at work. Police found that the vehicle had been reported as hijacked in Wierdabrug in Pretoria.
“A false registration belonging to a red Kia was being used. According to the information received, the driver is a suspect in a Limpopo murder case committed in 1994 and a fraud case in Germiston in 2003.
