Midrand police, Metro police and the South African National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence jointly spoke about crime and drugs.
Midrand police social crime prevention co-ordinator Constable Nanty Belebesi said, “We addressed the pupils on crime prevention and told them where to report crimes committed against them.
“Metro police and Midrand police also spoke about human trafficking, the problem of bullying, theft and road safety. They were taught to be alert at all times when speaking to strangers or crossing the road.”
She added that the pupils were also educated about drug and alcohol abuse and its consequences.
