GEKCO makes a plea to Kyalami residents

KYALAMI - Following a successful meeting held by the Greater Kyalami Conservancy Organisation, all individuals and organisations who would like to assist or form part of the Core Participant Team are invited to a meeting on 22 October, 6.30pm at the Cherry Country Lodge.

The meeting is aimed at establishing the focus and priorities for a strategic plan to tackle some of the key problems found in the conservancy.

According to Kristen Kallesen, the chairperson, some of the residents suggested a working team should be developed at the gathering on 11 October. The team will be responsible for most of the work to be undertaken and will then report back to a Core Participant Team.

“The Core Participant team will include representatives from resident associations, developers, environmental, equine, legal, roads, security, town planners and Joburg Region A,” said Kallesen.

Residents from Kyalami, Glenferness, Crowthorne, Beaulieu, Blue Hills, Sun Valley and Diepsloot are invited to attend.
