Water wise education for pupils

HALFWAY HOUSE - The Grade R class of the Einstein Factory Nursery school were invited by Halfway House Library to have a Water Wise educational show.

On 13 October, 29 children from the class had lots of fun whilst learning at the library.

“Our children had loads of fun with sing along’s and with the question and answer session,” said Selwyn Brickles, administration at the school. “Every child received a water bottle, and the school received water wise posters.”

According to Brickles, the children learned to respect water and life. He also said, “They learned to not pollute and waste water.”

The youngsters were also taught to be responsible citizens by paying for their water services, and to always be environmentally conscious by conserving water.
