Suspects’ robbery plans cut off

TEMBISA - Three suspects were arrested by the Gauteng 10111 Johannesburg Flying Squad in Tembisa.

It is alleged the suspects, aged between 38 and 47, were preparing to commit a business robbery in Mpumalanga at the time of the arrest. Speaking from Midrand, Captain Pinky Tsinyane said, “The suspects were arrested for possession of four unlicensed firearms. Members of the police squad responded to a tip off which led them to Tembisa, where the suspects were arrested.”

Captain Tsinyane emphasised that fighting crime is everyone’s responsibility. “Together we can make a difference, make a commitment to report crime and keep South Africa crime free. Thank you for all the tip offs.”

All the suspects will appear at Tembisa Magistrates’ Court soon.
