R15000 worth of truck tyres stolen

MIDRAND - A case of burglary at a business' premises has been opened at Midrand Police Station.

The burglary happened on President Street in President Park on 4 November. Four truck tyres had been stolen.

The victim who owns the local workshop said he left the business premises the previous evening having locked all the doors.

The following morning at about 3.30am he received a call from ADT, his security company, informing him that the alarm of the workshop had gone off. On his arrival at the scene at around 6am, he found the storeroom door had been broken in to. Four truck tyres, valued at R15 000, had been stolen.

Constable Matome Tlamela said the case was still being investigated and no arrests had yet been made.
