Local workshop burgled, R15 000 worth of truck tyres stolen

MIDRAND - A case of burglary at a business premises has been opened at Midrand Police Station.

The burglary occurred on President Street in President Park on 4 November where four truck tyres were stolen.

The victim, who owns the local workshop, said he left the business premises the previous evening, having locked all the doors.

The following morning at about 3.30am he received a call from his security company, ADT, informing him that his workshop alarm had gone off.

On his arrival at the scene at around 6am, he found that the storeroom door had been broken. Four truck tyres, which are valued at R15 000 had been stolen.

Constable Matome Tlamela of the station said the case was still being investigated and no arrest had yet been made.
