Olievenhoutbosch police spokesperson Constable Malefo Makena said, “Olievenhoutbosch police found the vehicle on a plot in Timsrand in Midrand. The truck was loaded with boxes of Kelloggs products.”
Five suspects were found unloading the goods and were immediately arrested. “A sixth suspect was arrested on Summit Road in a mini-truck loaded with the same stolen goods. The mini-truck had a furniture removal logo,” said Makena.
It is alleged that the hijacked truck was stolen in the Free State. Suspects will soon appear at Pretoria Magistrates’ Court charged with possession of stolen goods and hijacking.
