Although the woman said the incident took place in a short space of time, she remembers the distinct features of the man.
On 6 November, the Midrand resident had been driving along New Road when she stopped at the traffic lights by the off-ramp to Pretoria. A male approached her car and smashed the passenger window. He took her handbag which contained R2 000 worth of valuables.
She listed them as being her ID, bank cards, medical aid card, company keys, clothing account cards and her drivers license.
Midrand police communications officer Constable Matome Tlamela said a case of theft out of motor vehicle had been opened with the Midrand Police station.
