
Ivory Park police spokesperson Warrant Officer Neldah Sekgobela said the deceased was a tuck shop owner on 21 September Road.
She explained, “The victim was a Pakistani man. It is alleged that the suspects also robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money and took cellphones, and then fled the scene. Two cartridges were found at the scene of the crime.”
In another case, police found a 49-year-old African male dead on Republic Road next to Ebony Park. Sekgobela said, “Ivory Park police found rocks next to the body on 10 January.”
Police are appealing to anyone who has information regarding the suspects in both cases to come forward with information or to contact Ivory Park Police Station on 011 990 9600.
