According to the school’s principal Bonita Visagie, the Grade 11 public speakers, who competed on 4 March, achieved a B-plus. The Grade 10 public speakers, who competed on 12 March, received a B.
The Grade 7 public speakers received a C-plus on 19 March.
Visagie said, “These are very promising results considering the fact that we compete against schools who submit three or four teams per age group. Well done Poplar.”
