Gauteng Liquor Board to host trader workshop

MIDRAND - The Gauteng Liquor Board will host a workshop supported by the Midrand police at 10am on 14 April.

All the liquor traders who trade within the Midrand policing area are invited to attend the workshop which will be held at Midrand Police Station’s boardroom.

“The purpose of the workshop is to educate the liquor traders on the current liquor Act 2 of 2003, the Gauteng Liquor Act of 2014, the national liquor norms and standards as adopted by provinces and the address on shebeens permits conversion,” said Constable Nanti Belebesi, the station’s social crime prevention officer.
