She said she was in her vehicle on 2 April when three men approached her and forced out of her car. She said she was then pushed into the back seat. Her friend, whom she had been waiting for, arrived at the scene and was also shoved into the back seat.
The woman said the hijackers then had a conversation as to what to do with them. One of the men had a gun, and one of his co-hijackers suggested they shoot them, while the other said they should leave them alone. The men eventually decided to spare their lives.
They then forced them out of the vehicle and drove off with the car.
The woman said they had a Blackberry and Samsung in the car, and two bunches of flowers.
The car was later found, dumped in Country View.
Constable Matome Tlamela of Midrand police didn’t give the exact location of where the car was dumped.
“We are unaware of the reasons behind the hijackers dumping the car,” she said.
“We are investigating the case and are hoping to make arrests soon.”
